Brett made an impact on many people during his career, especially since establishing New Leaf Hospitality with his wife and Vice President, Trisha Erdmann. He cared tremendously about the properties New Leaf has managed and the people who have worked with him over the years. Brett truly appreciated everyone that he had the privilege of crossing paths with and would be proud to see how we are coming together to continue his legacy during this time of grief.

In memory of Brett, a Legacy Scholarship has been created in his name at his alma mater, Concordia College, in Moorhead, MN. Brett had fond memories of his time at Concordia College. It is where he received his degree in Business & Communications, where he made lifelong friendships, and most importantly; where he met his wife, business partner, and best friend, Trisha Erdmann. Brett was a business minded thinker, who always looked forward to mentoring new entrepreneurs and enjoyed nothing more than to share his wealth of knowledge and resources with the next generation of business owners. This scholarship can be funded year after year to honor his memory, and his love for the entrepreneurial spirit.
